IT Administrator

Michele Peresso Group is mainly active in the retail market through its subsidiaries Eurosport Ltd., Europharma Ltd. and Michele Peresso Fashion Ltd.  We are actively seeking an experienced and motivated IT Administrator to oversee and support our IT infrastructure across the Group, including retail locations. This role is essential in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers, user workstations, file servers, and network storage across multiple platforms (Windows, Linux, macOS)
• Administer and support core IT systems including Active Directory, Group Policies, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Azure
• Monitor and manage LAN/WAN infrastructure, switches, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and wireless access points to ensure secure and reliable connectivity
• Maintain IT security measures including multi-factor authentication, endpoint protection, access controls, and system monitoring tools
• Ensure regular data backups, conduct routine restore tests, maintaining disaster recovery plans and ensure business continuity in case of system failure or data breach.
• Provide technical support for IT issues, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and access-related problems.
• Provide support on hardware/software installations, login issues, and access permissions, on premise at our retails outlets, locations and remotely.
• Maintain up-to-date IT documentation including system configurations, network diagrams, software licenses, and inventory of IT assets

Required Skills and Competences

• Qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 2-3  years of experience in IT administration or system/network support.
• Proficiency in managing Microsoft environments, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts.
• Be a team player and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
• Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Pro-active and good problem solving skills.
• Be in possession of a valid Maltese Driving Licence and have own transport.
